A Major Reason Why Democrats are Desperate to Depose Trump
It might not necessarily be because they are afraid of his chances of winning back the Presidency come 2020. With record low unemployment and a booming economy, the only candidate who can possibly beat Trump in 2020 is himself. It’s not because they fear he is replacing our republic with a monarchy or a dictatorship. It’s not even about so-called Russian Collusion or quid pro quo with the new Ukrainian President. As for the former, there’s stunning evidence the 2016 Clinton Campaign colluded with the Russians via the phony Steele Dossier for which Bill and Hill cut a hefty check. In the latter, the real quid quo pro occurred when former Vice President Joe Biden publicly threatened a Ukrainian prosecutor with withholding US aid unless he laid off an open investigation into Biden’s son, Hunter. The prosecutor promptly obeyed.
Trump’s removal from office has much more to do with the broader legal picture on both the federal and district levels.
